WHN 130 (Q, MC) is a modern cross bed type, multi-axis horizontal boring and milling machine with movable column, transversely traveling table and a live spindle. Modular conception of the machine offerswide selection of options as to the parameter lenghts, which allows the customer to choose the machine execution optimal to their particular needs. The machine is fully CNC controlled by HEIDENHAIN TNC 426/430 M control, or Sinumerik 840 D of Siemens. The machine is also equipped with digital AC drives of Siemens.

Long lasting reliability is warranted by the fitting of electric cabinets with electric gear and protective elements of specialized and world-renowned makers (Telem?canique, Siemens).

The following models are available from the producer:

  • WHN 130 - the basic model, a cross-bed type horizontal boring mill with a live spindle and crosswise traveling table
  • WHN 130 Q - the Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) equipped model
  • WHN 130 MC - the full-fledged machining center equipped with both, ATC and APC (automatic pallet changer)

WHN 130 (Q, MC) is available with two types of headstock:

Headstock N - with the spindle carried in double-row roller bearings with higher dynamic load rating.

Headstock R - with the spindle carried in a set of spindle-type angular-contact ball bearings for higher speed range.

The CNC controls fully all the 5 machine axes (X, Y, Z, W & B) and also the workspindle (C axis). The independent servo-drives on all the machine axes make the linear, circular and helical interpolation possible. The machine's rotary table is clamped hydraulically, the other axes are kept in the target position within the closed positional loop.
